I have a beautiful Ficus standard, that I purchased last May - When I transplant it , I noticed that all the roots were coiled and have taken the shape of the pot. I tried at the time of transplanting to separate the roots - but I have noticed the leaves are dropping and turning brown. Is there anyway to salvage the plant, is there anything I can do with the roots, or am I stuck with the problem. I love this standard plant, please reply asap, Thanks Delyse.
