We need a tall hedge
"We live near the Sydney area and are very keen to find a good hedge to plant that is hardy, drought resistant, fast growing, will grow to just above head height and is easy to keep shaped. We have a new house on a main road which has no fencing and is totally open, giving us no pivacy, in our front yard. We don't want to spend money on a fence and our home is on a big wide block, so our alternative plant was to run a hedging plant along the front of the yard and around slighly to the sides, to give us full privacy. The plant would have to grow in full sun, a small section would get morning sun only. Would Lilly Pilly - Acmena Smithii be a suitable plant. Kelvin Sydney.
