Hi,
I was hoping you might be able to give me advice on the best way to get rid of "onion weed" in my garden. I have been told that is what it is called, the leaves look like spring onions and it has a white flower, if you try and pull it out it just breaks off. Thanks Catherine.
Answer: Hi Catherine,
Yes it sounds like Onion Weed. You will need to get some "Glysophate" also called "Round-up" and "Zero". Please consult your nursery regards the use of this product when you purchase it from your local nursery. You will need to get a small paint brush and paint the product directly onto the leaves. If they are in bunches you might like to use a small pump sprayer to do the job. Rememember that these products will kill all plants so be careful to avoid spraying it on other plants and do it on a sunny day without wind. Also ware some gloves and follow poison safetly instructions.
