Removing weeds from buffalo lawn

                      What weedkiller can I use on my Sir Walter buffalo lawn.  I have a lot of clover and small violets coming through.   Regards Liz

  Hi Liz,

 

                           This is an important question because if you use the wrong weed killer you will actually do your lawn a lot of damage.    Do not use any weed poison which uses Dicamba, it is a commonly used weed killer for lawn species.    You need to use a granulated treatment instead called "Weed and Feed" you can get this in 10kg bag.    If you cannot find this product then use a fertiliser called Sulphate of Ammonia.    Boardcast the treatment over the whole lawn.   And then wait a day or two and water in.     The lawn will turn a brown or black colour to start with,  but don't worry as it will grow back even better then before.
