The best time to prune a Frangipani tree

        Could you please tell me the best time (month) to prune a Frangipani.  I live in Bronte, Sydney  Many thanks Jackie.

Answer: 

Hi Jackie,

               The best time to prune a Frangipani is in the middle of winter,  July.  It is best if possible, to prune the stem back to a branch, otherwise you may get a few dead stems developing where the pruning occured.
