Annual plants require fertilising during their growing season. Warm season annuals can be fertilised a number of times during their growing season. Use granular fertiliser at the rate of around 30grams per m2 at around three times per season. Liquid fertilisers are also used on warm season annuals. They can be used on a regular bases once every two weeks, as long as instructions are followed. Cool season annuals can be fertilised once or twice a growing season with a granular fertiliser. Liquid fertiliser can also be used once every three weeks.
