Daisies varieties naturally occur in some of the Meditteranean areas of Europe. They are hardy, colourful shrubs, that are waterwise once established. In drought times they can die back and then regenerate when water is available. The hardiest varieties are some of the older varieties such as frutescens which comes in a white and a pink form. This variety comes from the Canary Islands however. If you require a smaller daisy have a look at Shasta Daisies. Daisies prefer well draind soil and open sunny positions. NSW,QLD,VIC,SA,TAS,WA.
