Spreading shrub to 1m x 2m. Grey foliage with vibrant blue flowers on the end of stems. Flowers are similar to lupins. Quite stunning when in flower. Drought tolerant shrub and can take frosts. Good for dry climates, but will grow in more humid places such as Sydney. Prefers sandy well drained soil. Grows best in full sun. NSW,VIC,QLD,SA,WA.

Daisies, Marguerite - Argyranthemum frutescens

Daisies varieties naturally occur in some of the Meditteranean areas of Europe. They are hardy, colourful shrubs, that are waterwise once established. In drought times they can die back and then regenerate when water is available. The hardiest varieties are some of the older varieties such as frutescens which comes in a white and a pink form. Golden Diosma - Coleonema pulchrum

Golden Diosma grows to a height of around 1m. It has vibrant golden foliage, with slightly pink flowers in spring. A hardy shrub which requires only moderate watering in dry times. No major pests. Diosma lost popularity some years ago, but is making a come back ! The colourful foliage and hardy nature make it great for waterwise gardens.
