A small leaf groundcover, with star like flowers. Pratia grows in a thick, soft mat of foliage, to a height of 1.5cm. Flower colours are white and light blue. Pratia grows best in semi-shade conditions, but will also grow in full sun in areas with moderate summers. Pratia looks fantastic growing under treees or as a groundcover along the edge of a path. Pratia requires a fertile, organically rich soil. Consistant soil moisture is required for Pratia to spread and look its best. Looks great in tropical and cottage gardens.
Ajuga is a broad leaf groundcover which grows to a height of 2cm and it spreads indefinitely. The leaf colours are green, varigated and a purple leaf variety (which is shown). Blue flower spikes develop in late spring and summer. Ajuga makes a great groundcover under trees as it will take semi-shade conditions, but also full sun where summers are not intense. It also makes a a good low boarder plant along paths and garden edges. Ajuga grows well in temperate and sub tropical gareas. Fertile, well drained soil is best. Moderate watering is required to maike Ajuga spread and grow nicely. 0003
