Viburnum tinus

Hardy shrub to approx 3m. Green leaf with red underside. Spot flowers throughout the year, major flowering in late winter/spring. Flowers are white. Very versitile shrub, hedges, screening etc. Waterwise once established. Will grow in most soils, but prefers well drained, organically enriched. NSW,QLD,VIC,SA,NT,WA,TAS.

Viburnum "Emerald Lustre"

Lush growing shrub to 3m. The large leaves of Emerald Lustre have a lush shine which make them great for tropical style gardens. The plant is fast growing and long lived. Requires well drained organically rich soil moderate watering required in dry times. Emerald Lustre is a useful shrub to use in areas of heavier shade, where a taller shrub is required. Frost tender. NSW,QLD,VIC,NT,SA.

Metrosideros "Fiji"

Metrosideros are hardy shrubs originating in New Zealand. "Fiji" is a variety that is grown for it's foliage and compact shape. Normally grows to 3m. The foliage colour makes in a good choice for a tropical style garden, it is also waterwise once established. Grown in full sun to partial shade, it is a very versitile shrub which can be shaped or hedged if required. Fiji will grow in a wide range of soils, but requires good drainage. Azalea indica - Azalea

Azaleas are plants that can suit a tropical style garden as they have that lush look and fantastic flowering. There are hundreds of flower colours available. They can be grown in full sun to partial shade. Shrubs vary in growth from 40cm up to 2m depending on variety and conditions. Azaleas look great in mass plantings. They can generally grow under trees where other shrubs will not. Frost tender. Soil type must be on the acid side around 4.5 to 5.5 to do best. Organically rich, well drained soil is best. Moderate watering is requied in dry times once established. NSW,QLD,VIC,TAS,SA,WA.
