Alternathera tricolour

Colourful, low maintenance groundcover that spreads about 1m. Grows to a height about 30cm. Looks good in mass plantings. Can be pruned flat. Not suited to cold climates as is effected by frosts. Can be reasonably hardy in sun or semi shade. Moderate watering required. NSW, QLD, VIC, SA, WA. Generally a low maintenance plant.

Alternathera "Exibition Gold"

Low growing groundcover around 15cm with 1m spread. Does not require much pruning. Low maitenance. Good foliage colour throughout the year for mass plantings, can be used to replace annuals were a low maintenance, colourful plant is required. Moderate water use. Not suited to areas with heavy frost. NSW, QLD, WA, SA, NT.

Ground cover juniper - Juniper conferta

Known as Shore juniper in some places. Hardy plant that spreads to about 2m and to a height of 30cm. Can be pruned flat. Excellent in mass plantings to cover large areas. Takes Shade to Full sun. Water wise once established. Used as a lawn replacement or to cover banks etc. Also can look great in raised beds. Leaves can be a bit sharp to touch like all Junipers, so be selective where planted. Can take Coastal Conditions. NSW, QLD, VIC, TAS, SA, TAS.

Shore Juniper - Juniper conferta

Very hardy ground cover which will spread around 2m and grow to a height of 15 to 30cm. Can be pruned flat if required. Grows in full sun to shade. Long lived, no major pests, low maintenance. Major draw back are the sharp leaves, but mostly used in areas where people would not have contact with it. Good for mass planting on banks, in raised beds and as a type of lawn replacement. Can withstand harsh coastal conditions. NSW, QLD, VIC, WA, SA, TAS.
