Golden Diosma - Coleonema pulchrum

Golden Diosma grows to a height of around 1m. It has vibrant golden foliage, with slightly pink flowers in spring. A hardy shrub which requires only moderate watering in dry times. No major pests. Diosma lost popularity some years ago, but is making a come back ! The colourful foliage and hardy nature make it great for waterwise gardens. It can be shaped into hedges, or as shown in this photo pruned flat as a sort of ground cover. Prefers full sun. Frost tolerant. Grows in most soils. Native of Sth Africa. NSW,QLD,VIC,TAS,SA,WA.
