Dietes vegetata is an upright growing grass like plant to just under 1m. The plant forms a clump up to 1m wide. White/blue/yellow flowers are produced in Autumn, on mass. They also spot flower during the year. The foliage stays lime green throughout the year.Waterwise plant once established. Can withstand light frosts. Vegetata is also called iridioides and there is a large flowering variety called grandiflora. Can grow in lowquality soils, but requires good drainage.NSW, QLD, VIC, SA, WA, TAS.
