Chinese Tallow- Sapium sebiferum

Medium, majestic deciduous tree 5-7m. Tallows have a broad, rounded habit with small heart shaped leaves. The leaves are dark green, turning bright red in Autumn. Very attractive tree suitable for courtyards or most sized gardens. Long lived and very hardy and waterwise once established. No major pests. The root system is generally not invasive, but should not be planted too close to houses or underground services. Suitable for temperate to cool temperate areas. VIC, NSW, WA,TAS,SA and inland areas of QLD.
